The tool is fit for purpose and very useful, not awarding it full marks is due to other issues. I was disappointed to find that the five year guarantee so proudly displayed on the front was invalidated by the label on the back that states guarantee does not cover ratchet mechanism. The ratchet is supposed to be the unique selling point. Presumably the manufacturer is frightened that someone will slip a piece of scaffolding pole over the open end and apply excessive force.

Two other quibbles. The 8mm spanner has to be detached from the demonstration mounting every time it is used, there is no separate slot for it in the rack. The mounting screw tapered slots in the case point left and right so it can't be easily detached if mounted on a tool wall (i.e. it can't be slid on and off proud screws), surely they should both point in the same direction.
