The Faithfull No.7 Jointer plane is designed for stock removal and truing long edges or levelling wide boards.
Made with a quality grey cast iron body for strength and stability with precision ground base and sides for flatness and squareness. Machined seatings eliminate movement and blade judder. A lever cap with a brass locking screw secures the blade assembly and enables easy release for sharpening. Wooden handles and guidance knobs maximise user comfort. A solid brass blade adjustment nut completes the appeal of these traditional tools.
Blade will require honing before use.

I live in Tasmania and recently took delivery of my no 7.
I know I could live without a metal jointer plane as I had a couple of wooden ones.
The nice price made me decide on the faithfull. I am very happy with it. After honing a quick micro bevel and shaving my arm it worked great and produced long thin shavings with ease.
The only problems are
A lot of free play on the adjuster knob ie it takes a full turn or more between advancing and withdrawing the iron.
The sole is almost perfectly flat but the
rH side is a tiny bit out of square.
The iron Is perfectly flat and sharpened to a razor edge. The wooden tote and knob are really nice. There are no sharp or rough edges on the casting.
The frog sits nice and tight and the lateral adjuster work ok.
What more could ask from a bargain priced plane.
It's weight make is easier to use than the wooden ones.
I recommend this plane
