Manufactured from carefully hardened and tempered quality carbon steel, the head is fully ground with polished cutting edges which are protected by a blade guard. Fitted with a traditional hickory handle which is known for its strength and ability to absorb impact.

I recently purchased the 2lb Faithfull hatchet for wood processing whilst camping. It is a high quality tool with very good balance. An axe head of 2lbs is capable of some fairly substantial cutting and splitting. It is also portable when setting up camp or day hiking. Very pleased with this excellent tool.
