The Faithfull Draining Shovel has a carbon manganese steel head with tubular steel shaft. Used for creating drainage channels, preparing trenches for drainage pipes and for making straight sided holes for fence posts.

Blade: 380 x 150-90mm (15 x 6-3.1/2in).
Shaft: 700mm (28in).

My son borrowed mine so in a hurry I bought a different make from screw fix and the steel bent like cheese. Comical!

I bought myself a new faithful all steel one to replace the well abused one my son has.

You won’t need a second one unless you loose yours!
