As part of the tool team I was asked to review this product fantastic planes but the block side adjustment quality is a little cheap im my experience I have been doing joinery for over 10 years and I have never had a block plane that would not adjust laterally it will only adjust one way when you try to push it back to correct it so the blade is parallel to the sole it doesn't move unless you take all the tension off the blade basically taking the plane apart to enable you to do this
Fantastic quality planes. Soles are very flat, require very minimal flattening. The blades hold a fantastic edge, the backs of the blades unless you use the ruler trick take quite abit of work to flatten but once all that work is done you have a tool that will last you a life time and produce quality work.
