The Faithfull Diamond Sharpening Stone Kit is ideal for quick, easy and effortless sharpening of any blade and many other tools.
The double sided 8mm thick metal stone is electroplated with monocrystalline diamond in two grits, 400G Coarse & 1000G Fine, each can be easily accessed by simply releasing the stone from the docking station and turning it over.
The benefit of this stone over a traditional abrasive sharpening stone is that the sharpening surface remains absolutely flat and will not ‘groove’ over time. This is essential in order to provide consistent straight edged on precision cutting tools such as wood chisels and plane irons.
Diamond stones will sharpen carbon steel, HSS and tungsten carbide tools and may also be used to abrade glass, ceramic tiles and porcelain and may be used dry or with water as a lubricant. Used for general purpose sharpening of knives, scissors, chisels, plane blades, cutting blades, TCT router bits and any tool that requires a sharp edge.
The docking station is constructed using three solid, non-slip rubber pads and robust steel rods that are fitted with easy grip screw nuts for precise and firm fixing of the stone. The docking station is adjustable to accept stones from 135 to 216mm in length and has a 6mm deep recess to provide a secure and firm base for all sharpening operations.
Supplied with a handy storage wallet.

I've had this stone about a year and the 400 grit side has lost al its cut its as if all the dimonds have gone off it really disappointed
Got it today and had a play sharpening one of my wifes knives she had for college years ago . Sharp as a razor in no time . I then used it on my old oil stone many years of use on it and it brought it flat in no time at all. Now I might be able to cut wood with my chisels and planes instead of rubbing them away. Love the docking station it grips the stone well and does not slide around like my oil stone box does.
Absolutely Brilliant, Brings worn out knives back from the dead in a fraction of the time compared to wet or oil stones and for me puts a far superior edge on the blade!
The docking station holds the stone very securely and due to the weight will not move around whilst sharpening which is my major gripe with other stones with holders!
A must for Chef's, Cook's or DIYers , or a great present!!
Please can you advise me how to clean this stone after use, and what lubricant you recommend should be used with it? Thank you.
Dear Mr. Adams,
Diamond stones may be used dry or with water as a lubricant. Clean the stone occasionally, using soapy water and a soft brush. Always dry the stone after use or cleaning and storing.

I was just wondering if the diamonds used are monocrystalline or polycrystalline and if they are electroplated into place or use adhesive? Many thanks.
This stone features electroplated monocrystalline diamonds.Answered by Faithfull Tools on November 17, 2017, 10:02 am
